Over the past year we’ve made a significant investment in our fabrication facility providing additional space and a substantial increase in capacity. This is to meet the increasing demand for our cutting service and more importantly the increased demand for our pre assembled frames.
Where a customer has a run requiring a number of the same or very similar frames to support ancillary services we’re able to build the whole frame in our workshop and deliver it to site for immediate installation. The design of the frames may be relatively simple with only a couple of drops to complex frames capable of supporting cable tray as well as pipe clips and phenolic blocks already in place.
Because the frames are built in a workshop environment the accuracy of the measurements and hence the quality of the frames can be greater than those built in situ. People & other resources that would otherwise be taken up making the frames are available to complete other more productive tasks. It saves on material costs as there is no wastage from surplus components and any cut lengths are already incorporated into the frame, saving the additional time of cutting strut and studding to the required length.
