Lindapter’s latest offering is the Type MF, a new addition to the decking fixture range. Designed in collaboration with Composite Metal Flooring Decking (CMF) to suspend building services from their MetFloor 60 & MetFloor 80 decking profiles.
The Lindapter Type MF, a two-part fixing, offers an independently approved safe working load of 1.47kN (per fixing) for all three versions of the product (sizes M6, M8 or M10) calculated to a safety factor of 3:1.
The target market for the new MF wedge is the building services sector which suits Jack Pennington’s customer base. The types of installation include: suspension of pipework, heating and ventilation equipment, electrical equipment and air conditioning systems among other uses.
The main opportunity exists when CMF’s MetFloor 60 or 80 decking profile is specified on a project as contractors coming onto site may wish to suspend building services from the decking profile – the Lindapter Type MF fixing has been created exactly for that purpose.
